9/12 Project ~ Charlotte, NC

You Are Not Alone

Welcome to the Charlotte 9/12 Project

About The 9/12 Project
The 9/12 Project exists to enable American citizens with the power needed to enable the government that is desired. Members of the 9/12 Project align with a set of 9 Principles and 12 Values which helped to make our country great.
9 Principles and 12 Values

Our Mission
Our mission is to join with the National and State level 9/12 Project to bring unity among all Americans, in a non-partisan manner, similar to the unity this country experience on 9/12/2001, in order to enable government “for the people, by the people.”

Our Goals
Increase the membership in the 9/12 Project to become our own special interest group. Through strength in numbers, our voice must be heard.

Uphold and demonstrate the 9 principles and 12 values which are at the heart of the 9/12 Project.

Enact changes in government which support government “for the people, by the people.”

Positively, charitably and/or philanthropically contribute to the local community to help those in need.

Maintain the idea of America as was envisioned by our founding fathers, established by our Declaration of Independence, and upheld by our Constitution.

Our Rules
This organization exists for the members. We will create a steering committee that will be responsible for making decisions relating to organizing our activities. All ideas will be given fair and constructive consideration by the organization as a whole.

This organization will operate democratically. Every meeting of the organization will have an agenda that will be published ahead of time. We will also loosely conduct meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order. In an organization like this, many people are passionate about current issues. Some form of order will be required to keep meetings on track. Activities of the organization must be agreed upon by a majority of the organization in attendance. There will be free time during each meeting, after official business has completed, to socialize with others.

The Charlotte 9/12 Project is a non-partisan group unaffiliated with any religion. When gathering or representing the organization leave all political and religious affiliations at the door. This group gathers and takes action as concerned Americans and not as a political party. The 9/12 Project seeks to unite Americans. Currently, political parties only divide them. While one of the 9 principles indicates a belief in God, we will not focus efforts on issues relating to religious beliefs. Religious movements would be more appropriately handled by religious organizations.

It is highly recommended for members to gather in smaller groups throughout the Charlotte area to share ideas and keep each other informed.
